Terms and Conditions for Subscription Plans
The subscription plans offered by Kingston Open College (Basic, Standard, and Premium) are designed to provide learners access to a collection of CPD and QLS-endorsed courses. By subscribing to any of these plans, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Billing and Payment:
- The Basic Plan is billed monthly and provides 30-day access to courses.
- The Standard Plan is billed every six months, offering six months of course access.
- The Premium Plan is billed annually and grants 12 months of access.
- All payments are processed upfront, and subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
- Users must ensure sufficient funds are available for successful payment processing.
2. Access and Benefits:
- These subscription plans provide access to a wide collection of CPD and QLS-endorsed courses only. Regulated courses are excluded from these plans and must be purchased separately. If, due to any technical glitch, a learner is mistakenly added to a regulated course, Kingston Open College reserves the right to remove the learner from the regulated course at any time without prior notice.
- Certificates are issued upon course completion and may require additional verification. Course completion refers to completing all the modules of the course and any assignments and exams where applicable.
- Free e-certificates refers to CPD accredited pdf certificates for the completed course. And to receive QLS certification for any course, a QLS certification fee must be paid. This fee includes a hard copy of the QLS certificate along with a transcript.
3. Cancellation Policy:
- Subscriptions can be canceled at any time through your account dashboard. Canceling prevents future billing but does not refund payments already made.
- Access to courses and benefits will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
4. Refunds:
- If you cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period, you are eligible for a full refund.
- Refunds are not available after the 14-day cooling-off period has elapsed.
- Refunds are not provided for any subscription charges beyond the initial 14-day period, including auto-renewals.
It is the user's responsibility to review the subscription benefits and terms before making a purchase.
5. Account Usage:
- Subscriptions are personal and non-transferable. Sharing account details or course materials with others is prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of your subscription.
6. Modifications:
- Kingston Open College reserves the right to modify subscription pricing, benefits, or access terms with prior notice to subscribers. Changes will apply to future billing cycles.
7. Limitation of Liability:
- Kingston Open College is not liable for interruptions in service due to technical issues, third-party providers, or unforeseen circumstances. Efforts will be made to resolve disruptions promptly.
8. Customer Support:
- Customer support team is available to assist with subscription-related queries, technical issues, or course access concerns.
