Course Overview

The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices (RQF) is designed for individuals who are responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality of assessment within education and training environments. Assessment decisions must be fair, consistent, and meet awarding body requirements, and this qualification supports those who oversee that responsibility.

The course focuses on how internal quality assurance operates in real assessment settings. It explains how assessment plans are reviewed, how assessor performance is monitored, and how assessment decisions are checked against agreed standards. Learners gain clarity on how to apply internal quality assurance methods that support compliance while also encouraging improvement.

This qualification is regulated under the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and is suitable for those already working, or preparing to work, in quality assurance roles within further education, adult learning, training providers, and awarding organisations.

Kingston Open College advertises and resells this course in affiliation with delivery partners approved by the relevant awarding organisation. For information on course delivery and assessment, feel free to contact the support team.
